Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve UCP Advisor user management issues.
- Condition 1:
- Unable to synchronize Active Directory user and Active Directory groups.
- Condition 2:
- An Active Directory user is unable to log on to UCP Advisor.
- Condition 3:
- The identity source password is changed or expired.
- What it Means:
- The BindDN password for the identity source is changed or expired.
- Corrective Action:

- Log on to UCP Advisor as ucpadmin.
- Click .
- From the Actions menu for the identity source that you want to update the password, select Edit.
- Edit the password, and then click Submit.
