Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to resolve firmware upgrade issues on the HA800 G2/G3 series server models that occur due to incomplete SPV upload to the server or component upgrade failure.

Condition:
Unable to upgrade the server firmware. One of the following error is displayed:
Unable to upgrade the firmware on server <server IP address> because of Error response from the upgrade server(workFlowId: 107; errorDescription:Unable to verify the initiation of firmware upgrade.)

Corrective Action:
  1. Using SSH, log on to the server's iLO.
  2. Click the Power button and then select Cold Boot.
  3. Wait for the server to power on.
  4. Log on to the vCenter and verify that the ESXi host for the specific server is in the Connected state.
  5. Re-run the Upgrade Firmware operation for the specific server.
