- DS120/DS220/DS225/DS240
- DS120 G2/DS220 G2
- Condition:
- Unable to upgrade the server firmware due to the following error:
Unable to set power state to On for server <server IP address> because: The operation timed out while awaiting a resource. . Configuration issues. Check configurations.
- What it Means:
- The BMC must be reset.
- Corrective Action:
- Reset the BMC, and then re-run the firmware upgrade operation for the specific server:
- Using SSH, log on to the server's BMC, and then run the following command:
reset sp
- Wait 15 minutes.
- On the page, click the Refresh icon.
- Re-run the Upgrade Firmware operation.
