- When backing up a Cisco Ethernet switch configuration, the following error occurs:
- Host key verification failed
- Probable Cause:
- A host key or the host already exists; it must be deleted.
- Corrective Action:
- Log on to the Cisco Ethernet switch CLI, and then clear the SSH hosts using the following command:
- clear ssh hosts
