You can present a volume to multiple hosts.

Note: Verify that a vCenter is registered and attached to the UCP system.
  1. Browse to the storage system where you want to present a volume to multiple hosts.
  2. Select Volumes.
  3. From the Actions menu, select Present Volume to Multiple Hosts.
  4. Enter the following:
    • Compute Devices: Select one or more compute devices from the list.
Note: IP addresses for compute nodes in Onboarding or Error state are not listed.
    • LUN ID: (Optional) Enter the LUN ID.

The volume is presented to the host group of the selected compute device using the LUN ID.

  5. Click Submit.
Note: The zone verification task runs in parallel and as a separate task with the PresentLogicalUnitToESXiHosts task.
