Modifying capacity saving

You can modify the capacity saving for an existing volume.

1. Browse to the storage system where you want to modify the capacity saving for a volume.
2. Select Volumes.
3. From the Actions menu for the volume that you want to modify, click Modify Capacity Saving.
4. Modify the capacity saving as required, and then click Submit.
   
   

   

   
   

   Note:

   • Capacity saving is supported on DP volumes only; it is not supported on basic pool volumes.
   • The capacity saving option is only available for storage systems with a Deduplication & Compression license that is installed and enabled.
5. Click the Refresh icon to update the list information.
