Expanding a storage pool

You can expand a storage pool to increase its capacity.

1. Browse to the storage system where you want to expand a storage pool.
2. Select Storage Pools.
3. Click the Action menu for the storage pool in the inventory that you want to expand, and then click Expand Storage Pool.
4. Enter the following:

   Storage Pool ID

   ID of the storage pool that you want to expand (this is auto-populated).

   Name

   Name of the storage pool that you want to expand (this is auto-populated).

   Pool Volumes

   Select a parity group, and then enter the additional capacity size in GBs for the expansion. The minimum value is 8 GBs. Then click Add Volume.

5. Click Submit.
6. Click the Refresh icon to update the list information.
