You can create and delete host groups, present and unpresent logical units to host groups, and add or remove WWNs. You can also add or remove them from resource groups.
To view the host groups for a storage device:
- Browse to the storage system where you want to manage host groups.
- Select Host Groups.
The following information is displayed in the host group inventory:
- ID
- The ID of the host group.
- Name
- The name of the host group.
- Subscriber ID
- The subscriber ID that is tagged to the host gorup.
- Port
- The port on the storage system used by the host group.
- Host mode
- The operating system running on the connected server.
- Host Mode Options
- The ID number of the host mode option.
- Number of Hosts
- The number of hosts in the host group.
- Number of Volumes
- The number of volumes presented to the host group.
- Resource Group
- The resource group ID.
