Resetting the BMC of a single compute node

You can reset the BMC of a single compute node.

1. Browse to the compute node that you want to soft boot.
2. From the Compute > Summary page, click the Reset BMC icon.
3. Enter Submit, and then click Submit.

   After a BMC reset, it takes approximately 10 minutes for the management services on the BMC to be up and running. Wait for ten minutes before doing any compute management operations.
