Perform discovery of I/O cards to identify which I/O cards are available on your servers and to upgrade the card firmware. The discovered I/O cards are displayed on the I/O Cards tab for each server, respectively.
You can initiate discovery of I/O cards on individual or multiple servers in parallel or sequentially in a single operation. The default method is in parallel, but if you do not want service to be interrupted, choose to discover the I/O cards sequentially.
When I/O card discovery is in progress, you can initiate separate I/O card discovery operations for other servers in the same UCP system or in other UCP systems managed by UCP Advisor. You can track the I/O card discovery progress of each server through their respective tasks on the Tasks console.
