Attaching a volume to a server assigns the specified volume to the host groups present on the storage system for the specified server. Optionally, you can specify the LUN ID to assign the volume to a host with a specific LUN ID.
Note: Verify that the host group is created on the storage system and that zoning is configured between the storage system and the server.
- Browse to the compute node where you want to attach a volume.
- From the Actions menu, select Attach Volume to Server.
- From the Storage System list, select a storage system, a volume, optionally enter a LUN ID, and then set the ALUA mode.
- Click Submit.
