Detaching VMware Aria Operations for Logs from a UCP system

You can detach a VMware Aria Operations for Logs instance from a UCP system.

Verify that a VMware Aria Operations for Logs instance is registered and attached to the UCP system.
  1. Click Settings > VMware Integration.
  2. Select the VMware Aria Operations for Logs tab.
  3. From the Actions menu of the VMware Aria Operations for Logs instance that you want to detach, select Detach VMware Aria Operations for Logs from UCP System.
    After you detach VMware Aria Operations for Logs from a UCP system, the Remote Syslog Server removes the VMware Aria Operations for Logs IP address for compute, storage, and network switches in that UCP system from the Summary tab.

  4. Select the UCP systems where you want to detach the VMware Aria Operations for Logs instance, and then click Submit.
  5. Click the Refresh icon to update the list of VMware Aria Operations for Logs information.
