Attaching VMware Aria Operations for Logs to a UCP system

You can attach a VMware Aria Operations for Logs instance to a UCP system to enable log management and visualization of the devices in the UCP system.

  1. Click Settings > VMware Integration.
  2. Select the VMware Aria Operations for Logs tab.
  3. From the Actions menu of the VMware Aria Operations for Logs instance that you want to attach, select Attach VMware Aria Operations for Logs to UCP System.
  4. From the Destination System list, select the UCP system where you want to attach VMware Aria Operations for Logs.
    Note: You can attach the VMware Aria Operations for Logs instance to only one UCP system at a time. To attach the instance to additional UCP systems, repeat the above steps.

    After you attach VMware Aria Operations for Logs to a UCP system, the Remote Syslog Server displays the VMware Aria Operations for Logs IP address on the Summary tab for compute, storage, and network switches in that UCP system.

  5. Click Submit.
  6. Click the Refresh icon to update the list of VMware Aria Operations for Logs information.
