You can generate and download a UCP system inventory report for a single system or all systems registered in the UCP Advisor inventory.

The UCP system inventory report provides a complete list of all the compute, switches, and storage devices configured for each system, and it includes license information, consumed and available capacities, and the operating systems, drivers, and firmware running on each device. It also lists information about port connections and volumes, including vSAN datastore information for hyperconverged and rack scale systems, and vCenter datacenter, cluster, host, and datastore information.
  1. Log on to UCP Advisor as a ucpadmin user.
  2. Click Settings > Report.
  3. Click New Report.
  4. Select the UCP systems you want to include in the report.
Note: If your UCP system includes a shared stored system, include all UCP systems that share that storage system.
  5. Click Submit.

You can monitor the report generation task on the Tasks console. After the report is generated, refresh the Reports page to update the reports list. Only the newest configuration report for the selected systems is displayed. When the maximum number of reports that are displayed is reached, any newly generated report will replace the oldest report in the list.

  6. From the Actions menu, click Download to download a report.

The report is available in a ZIP format. To view the report, download and extract the ZIP file. The UCP Systems Inventory report includes links to each device report under the Details section. Click each device report to view its details as a separate HTML file.
