- Condition:
- The storage volume verification task fails when creating an NVMe datastore.
- What it Means:
- The volume on the ESXi host cannot be verified so the NVMe datastore cannot be created.
- Corrective Action:

- Manually present the volume to the NVMe subsystem, and then from the ESXi host, verify that it has been presented.
- If the manually presented volume is still not listed on the ESXi host, reset the HBA using the following command:
esxcli storage san FC reset -A vmhbaX
