Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve issues with AD, SNMP, and NTP settings.

Condition:
An error occurs when setting or editing AD, SNMP, or NTP settings.
What it Means:
One of the following servers are either not accessible or have configuration issues:
  • BMC
  • AD
  • NTP
  • SNMP
Corrective Action:
  1. Verify that the BMC, AD, NTP, and SNMP servers are reachable over the network.
  2. Verify that the AD, NTP, and SNMP configurations are supported on the server model.
  3. Using SSH, log on to the BMC server, and run the following command:
    reset sp
  4. Wait for approximately 10 minutes, and then retry the operation.
