Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve Fibre Channel switch onboarding issues that occur when SNMP is disabled.
- Condition
- Intermittently unable to onboard Fibre Channel switches.
- What it means:
- Either the Fibre Channel switch SNMP is disabled or the HTTPS certificate is expired.
- Corrective action:

- Using SSH, log on to the Fibre Channel switch.
- Enable SNMP configuration. Enter:
snmpconfig --enable snmpv1
- Generate the HTTPS certificate. Enter:
seccertmgmt generate -cert https
- Onboard the switch.
