Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve Fibre Channel switch onboarding issues that occur when SNMP is configured.
- Condition
- Intermittently unable to onboard Fibre Channel switches when SNMP is configured.
- What it means:
- Fibre Channel switches sometimes cannot be onboarded when SNMP is configured as either enabled or disabled.
- Corrective action:
- Change the SNMP configuration.
- Log on to the Fibre Channel switch, and then run one of the following commands:
- If the SNMP configuration is enabled:
snmpconfig --disable snmpv1
- If the SNMP configuration is disabled:
snmpconfig --enable snmpv1
- If the SNMP configuration is enabled:
- Onboard the switch.
- Log on to the Fibre Channel switch, and then run one of the following commands:
