Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve Fibre Channel switch onboarding issues that occur when SNMP is configured.

Condition
Intermittently unable to onboard Fibre Channel switches when SNMP is configured.
What it means:
Fibre Channel switches sometimes cannot be onboarded when SNMP is configured as either enabled or disabled.
Corrective action:
Change the SNMP configuration.
  1. Log on to the Fibre Channel switch, and then run one of the following commands:
    • If the SNMP configuration is enabled:
      snmpconfig --disable snmpv1
    • If the SNMP configuration is disabled:
      snmpconfig --enable snmpv1
  2. Onboard the switch.
