Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve Fibre Channel switch backup configuration issues.
- Condition:
- When backing up a Fibre Channel switch configuration, the following error occurs:
- Host key verification failed
- Probable Cause:
- A host key or the host already exists; it must be deleted.
- Corrective Action:
- Log on to the Fibre Channel switch CLI and delete all known host keys for the host using the following command:
- sshutil delknownhost
- For example:
R1-G620-B:admin> sshutil delknownhost
IP Address/Hostname to be deleted:<IP address or hostname>
Known Host deleted successfully.
