Troubleshooting accidental plugin removal from the vCenter MOB

Use the following guidelines and suggested steps to help resolve accidental removal of the UCP Advisor HSM or client plugins from the vCenter MOB.

Condition:
The UCP Advisor HSM or client plugin was accidentally removed (unregistered) from the vCenter MOB.
What it Means:
The following plugin strings are no longer present in the MOB:
  • com.hitachi.ucp.advisor
  • com.hitachi.ucp.advisorhsm
Corrective Action:
  1. Log on to UCP Advisor.
  2. Browse to Settings > VMware Integration.
  3. Click the Refresh icon to re-deploy the missing plugins to the vCenter MOB.
Note: The plugins that were accidently removed on the vCenter MOB will get re-deployed upon vCenter instance refresh.
