Uploading firmware for Brocade Fibre Channel G620 and G720 switches

Brocade G620 and G720 firmware bundles must be manually uploaded to UCP Advisor before you can upgrade the firmware on your Brocade devices. The Brocade firmware bundles are available from the Broadcom Hitachi Assist Portal via the Hitachi Support Connect portal.

1. On a multi-node configuration, log on to Worker Node1, and then navigate to the firmware bundle folder:
   On a standalone configuration, log on to the UCP Advisor VM, and then navigate to the firmware bundle folder:

   For G620:

   [ucpadmin@UCPAdvisorWorker1Host-71 ~]$ cd /var/ucpadvisor/firmware/bundle/UCPA12112023v450/Switches/Brocade/G620/v9.1.1c/

   For G720:

   [ucpadmin@UCPAdvisorWorker1Host-71 ~]$ cd /var/ucpadvisor/firmware/bundle/UCPA12112023v450/Switches/Brocade/G720/v9.1.1c/

2. Copy the Brocade switch firmware files to the firmware bundle folder. The structure of the folder should be similar to the following:
