You can copy a VLAN range from a VMware distributed virtual switch to a UCP switch device.
Note: VLAN synchronization is supported for Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches only.
- Verify that vCenter is registered and attached to the UCP system.
- Configure the vSphere distributed switch in vCenter for VLAN synchronization. Note: VLAN synchronization requires login to UCP Advisor using a vCenter Admin user.
- Verify that the selected hosts are part of the distributed switch.
- Enable LLDP for the distributed switch.
- Verify that the selected ESXi hosts have a VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus license.
- Onboard all compute devices to the UCP system along with their ESXi details.
- Onboard all Ethernet switches to the UCP system.
