You can view information and the current status of ports on a storage system. You can also add or remove them from resource groups.
To view the ports on a storage system:
- Browse to the storage system where you want to view port information.
- Select Ports.
The following information is displayed in the port inventory:
- Port
- The name of the port.
- Type
- The type of port.
- Mode
- The mode of the port.Note: This tab is displayed only for the VSP 5200, VSP 5200H, VSP 5600, and VSP 5600H storage systems.
- Speed
- The speed of the port.
- Port Security
- The security status of the port.
- Target WWN
- The target World Wide Name (WWN).
- Resource Group
- The resource group ID.
