Expanding a datastore

You can expand a datastore to increase its allocated capacity within your virtual environment. This operation also expands the datastore's associated logical unit on the storage system.

1. Browse to the storage system where you want to expand a datastore
2. Select Datastores > Expand.
3. Enter the following:

   Storage System

   Select a storage system from the list.

   Datastore

   Select the datastore that you want to expand from the list.

   Additional Datastore Capacity (GB)

   Enter the additional capacity in GB that you want to add to the datastore.

4. Click Submit.
