You can display a graph view or table view of the ports on a Fibre Channel switch that shows information such as port number, online status, and WWN. It also shows connection information.
- Browse to the Fibre Channel switch where you want to view port information.
- Click the Fibre Channel switch tile, and then click Ports.
- In the ports chart, click a port to view its details. You can also click the Table or Graph icons to toggle between the Table view and the Graph view.
The following information is displayed:
- Connected BMC IP
- The IP address of the connected BMC.
- Connected Controller Port
- The ID of the connected controller port.
- Connected Device WWN
- The connected Initiator/Target WWN.
- Connected Host IP
- The connected host IP address.
- Connected Name
- The connected Initiator/Target name.
- Connected Port WWN
- The WWN of the connected port.
- Connected Storage Serial Number
- Serial number of the connected storage system.
- Port
- Shows the ID associated with the port.
- Speed
- Shows the speed classification for the port:

- AN = Automatic speed negotiation is enabled.
- Nx = Negotiated x Gbps; for example, N8 speed means the negotiated speed is 8 Gbps.
- xG = Fixed speed set to x Gbps; for example, G8 speed means the fixed speed is 8 Gbps.
- Status
- Indicates if the port is currently online or not.
- Tags
- The tags for the switch port.
- WWN
- Shows the World Wide Name (members) associated with the port.
