You can apply a zone policy for a switch based on the server and storage connections available on that switch.
- Verify that you have an active zone configuration.
- Create a zone policy. See Creating a zone policy.
- Verify that the servers, storage devices, and the switches that are included in the policy are onboarded to the same UCP system.
- Click , and then click Apply Policy.
- For the policy type, select Zone, and then select the following:
- Policy: select the zone policy that you want to apply.
- System: select the UCP system where you want to apply the zone policy.
- Servers: select the servers to create the server zone alias for the zone policy.
- Storage: select the storage systems to create the storage zone alias for the zone policy.
- Click Submit.
Note: There must be at least one active zone configuration available on the switches.
