You can apply a VLAN configuration policy to Ethernet switches.
Create a VLAN policy. See Creating a VLAN policy.
- Click Settings > Policies, and then click Apply Policy.
- For the policy type, select VLAN, and then select the following:
- Policy: Select the VLAN policy that you want to apply.
- System: Select the UCP system where you want to apply the VLAN policy.
- Device Type: Select the device type: Switch or Server.Note:
- The VLAN policy is applied to the Ethernet switches based on the device type that you select.
- The servers and the switches must be onboarded to the same UCP system.
- If you select Switch, then enter the following:
- Switches: Select the switches where you want to apply the VLAN policy.
- Ports: Select the ports that you want to tag or untag.
- If you select Server, then enter the following:
- Servers: Select the servers from the list.
- Click Submit.
