You can import a template of BMC settings for Active Directory, NTP, and SNMP to quickly apply them to a compute node within the same compute node model group.
Note: This feature is not supported on HA840 G3 server model.
For example, you can import a BMC settings template that was exported from a compute node within the following model groups to any compute nodes within the same model group.
- DS120, DS220, DS225, DS240
- DS120 G2, DS220 G2
- HA810/ HA820 G2, HA805/ HA810/HA815/HA820/HA825 G3
Verify that a template to import BMC settings is available. For details on exporting a template, see Exporting BMC settings to a template.
- Select one or more compute nodes where you want to import the BMC settings template, and then click Import BMC Settings.
