You can edit the BMC settings for SNMP on individual servers, or on multiple servers simultaneously. You can also disable SNMP for all selected servers.

Note:
  • This feature is not supported on HA840 G3 server model.
  • This feature is not applicable on the following compute nodes: Hitachi Advanced Server DS120 G2 and DS220 G2.
  • Inventory discovery of a server might fail if the SNMP setting is disabled during onboarding of a compute device. When you disable or enable SNMP on HA810/HA820 G2 servers, both SNMP v1 and SNMP v3 are disabled or enabled respectively. After you disable SNMP on HA810/HA820 G2 servers, you must reset the BMC for the changes to take effect.
  1. Browse to the UCP system where you want to edit the SNMP settings for one or more servers, and then click Compute.
  2. Select the servers, and then click the Edit BMC Settings icon.
  3. From the Select BMC setting to change list, select SNMP settings.
The Selected Servers table lists the current SNMP settings for each server.
