Compute node locator ID (LID) lamp

Each compute node is equipped with a locator ID (LID) lamp that you can turn on or off to help you identify the location of the compute node in a rack.

1. Browse to the compute node where you want to manage the LID setting.
2. Click the LID switch either in the Tile view or from the Compute > Summary page to turn on or turn off the LID lamp.
3. Verify that you want to turn the LID on or off, and then click Submit.
