If you want to perform vCenter-related operations or use UCP Advisor in plugin-mode with VMware vSphere Client, you must register your vCenter with UCP Advisor.
Operations for integrating VMware can only be performed by members of user groups that have been assigned the UCP Advisor Admin role and, as a vCenter user, they have been assigned all of the following privileges:
- Datastore
- ESX Agent Manager
- Extension
- Global
- Host
- Plug-in
- Host profile
- Datastore cluster
- Storage views
- Tasks
- VMware vSphere Lifecycle Manager
- vSAN
- vSphere Client
