Metrics are the types of performance information or configuration information collected by MAR.

The metric collection function can acquire information that is needed to identify the cause of an issue.

The table below shows the metrics and the information to collect.

LDEV	Performance information and configuration information for the LDEV, CCA (channel connection address) LDEV usage, etc.
MPU	Performance information and configuration information for a unit (MPU) that contains a data input and output processor, and configuration information for any partitions (CLPRs) that logically divide the storage system cache that are allocated to the MPU. MPU usage, cache memory usage, etc.
The top 20 resources with the highest MP usage	Resource information of a top 20 resources with the highest MP (the processor in an MPU) The term "resources" refers to LDEVs, journal groups, and external storage parity groups.
Port	Performance information and configuration information of the port Throughput, etc.
Parity group	Performance information and configuration information of the parity group (physical group of installed storage devices) Usage of the parity group, etc.
