Sets the value of the following by using environment variables:

Syntax
START RSSETENV,
PARM='LOGPUT=[{LOGR|SAM}]'
Parameters
Multiple parameters can be specified for the maximum length that can be specified in the PARM parameter of the START command. If the same parameter is specified more than once, the value specified last takes effect.
- LOGPUT=[LOGR|SAM]

Specify whether to use the system logger service when outputting the event log.

LOGR
The event log is output using the system logger service.

SAM
The event log is output to a sequential dataset without using the system logger service.
To remove the value of the environment variable LOGPUT, specify PARM='LOGPUT='.
