When creating partitions on an HDLM device, only use one of the following commands: fdisk, parted, gdisk, or sgdisk.

If partitions have been created on an HDLM device using the fdisk or parted command, some of the partitions created by the fdisk command might not be visible to the parted command. Likewise, some of the partitions created by the parted command might not be visible to the fdisk command. For this reason, if partitions that are created using the fdisk command are modified using the parted command, the partition information might be corrupt. The same problem might occur when the gdisk or sgdisk command is used.
