The following conditions apply to the HDLM device corresponding to the HDLM device file that is output to a message. Verify that all of the following conditions are met:

  • The HDLM device file exists.

  • All of the paths of the HDLM device are online.

  • All of the HDLM device paths (SCSI devices) have the same LU capacity.

Verify that all conditions are met, and then retry the command. If an error still occurs, even though all conditions are met, execute the DLMgetras utility for collecting HDLM error information, and then contact your HDLM vendor or the maintenance company if there is a maintenance contract for HDLM.
