This subsection describes how to remove HDLM.
For a local boot environment that does not use an HDLM device as the boot disk, perform the procedure described in Removing HDLM.
For a multipath boot disk environment that uses an HDLM device, perform the procedure described in Migration to a single-path boot disk environment.
In addition, for an environment where LVM2 is used, after uninstalling HDLM, perform the procedure described in Removing the LVM2 settings after uninstalling HDLM.
