When you use Resource Partition Manager, you can use volumes belonging to resource groups as the Volume Migration source and target volumes. However, you might not be able to perform Volume Migration depending on how Resource Partition Manager is used.
The following table shows whether Volume Migration is available for each configuration.
Tip: When you use mainframe systems, you can access only one resource group from a host. Therefore, specify as the source and target volumes the volumes belonging to the resource group that can be accessed from the host.
