You can use ShadowImage for Mainframe pair volumes and ShadowImage pair volumes as Volume Migration source volumes unless the volumes have a prohibited pair status or configuration. For details, see Supported and prohibited source and target volumes.
CAUTION:
- If you do the ShadowImage operation so that the ShadowImage pair status becomes COPY (SP) or PSUS(SP) when Volume Migration and ShadowImage share a volume, the Volume Migration process stops.
- If you do the ShadowImage for Mainframe operation so that the ShadowImage for Mainframe pair status becomes other than TRANS or SUSPVS when Volume Migration and ShadowImage for Mainframe share a volume, the Volume Migration process stops.
