You cannot select a volume in Pending Duplex or Duplex status as a source volume.
If you create a Universal Replicator for Mainframe pair for a delta resync operation in a 3DC multi-target configuration, the primary volume or the secondary volume of the delta resync pair can be used as a source volume. To use the primary or secondary volume as a source volume, you must ensure that the status of each pair in the 3 DC multi-target configuration is as shown in the tables given below.

Also, the source and target volumes must belong to the same CLPR.
- If you do the Universal Replicator for Mainframe operation so that the Universal Replicator for Mainframe pair status becomes other than Suspended when Volume Migration and Universal Replicator for Mainframe share a volume, the Volume Migration process stops.
- In a 3DC multi-target configuration and a 3DC cascade configuration with three Universal Replicator for Mainframe sites, you cannot specify the volume which two Universal Replicator for Mainframe pairs share to use for Volume Migration. You cannot use Volume Migration volumes as the volume which two Universal Replicator for Mainframe pairs share.
