Creating a CLPR can significantly degrade host performance and should be performed during the initial installation and setup of the storage system or during maintenance.

If no CLPRs have been created, the entire cache is displayed as CLPR0. When the first CLPR is created, CLPR1 is added. The maximum number of CLPRs that can be created is 31 (CLPR1 to CLPR31).
When a CLPR is created, the specified capacity from CLPR0 is assigned to the new CLPR. The minimum cache capacity for a CLPR is 8 GB.
The raidcom add clpr CCI command is used to create a CLPR. Always work with customer support before creating a CLPR.
