Troubleshooting Concurrent Copy

An SCP-SCI report is output when the threshold of the side file usage rate is exceeded during Concurrent Copy.

When the side file usage rate in a CLPR containing an LDEV targeted for Concurrent Copy exceeds the threshold, an SCP-SCI report is output.

• In the DKCMAIN microcode version A0-05-21-00/00, the threshold of the side file usage rate is fixed at 50% and cannot be changed.

  If an application affected by the SCP-SCI report is used, reduce the number of LDEVs targeted for Concurrent Copy at one time so that the side file usage rate does not exceed 50%.

• In the DKCMAIN microcode version A0-05-21-00/00 or later, use the raidcom modify clpr command to change the threshold of the side file usage rate.

The threshold of the side file usage rate cannot be changed.

In DKCMAIN microcode version A0-05-21-00/00, the threshold of the side file usage rate is fixed at 50% and cannot be changed.

Monitor the side file usage rate by using CCI or VSP Block Storage REST API.
