- When you create a TSE-VOL, the license for Compatible Software for IBM® FlashCopy® SE must be installed.
- When you create an ESE-VOL, the ESE Volume, User Directed Space Release function must be enabled.
- When you create a TSE-VOL or an ESE-VOL, if the associated pool ID is an odd number, specify the CU number of the LDEV to an odd number.
- When you create a TSE-VOL or an ESE-VOL, if the associated pool ID is an even number, specify the CU number of the LDEV to an even number.
