This workflow shows the details of step 4a in Workflow for applying the copy threshold option.

  1. Set SOM 1254 to ON for the storage system that contains the V-VOL.
  2. If a TrueCopy for Mainframe or global-active device volume that contains the V-VOL is available, set SOM 1254 to ON for the target storage system for the TCz or GAD volume.
