Multipath configuration

Use the multipath configuration to connect hosts and storage systems. To do that, storage systems require redundant LU paths.

To create the multipath configuration, use the ports of the channel boards on different controller boards. If you cannot use the channel boards on different controller boards, use the ports of different channel boards.

The multipath configuration cannot be created by using ports from different types of iSCSI channel boards. In an environment in which different types of iSCSI channel boards coexist, create a multipath configuration by using only the ports on the same type of iSCSI channel boards.
