- The total capacity of CFCSE S-VOLs and T-VOLs must be less than or equal to the installed license capacity.
- For source volumes, the capacity is added in the same way as for Compatible FlashCopy® V2. For target volumes, which are TSE-VOLs, the capacity for the tracks in use is added track by track. This license capacity is not updated immediately. Therefore, the installed license capacity might be exceeded by multiple write operations to the pools.
CAUTION:
If the total volume capacity required by CFCSE exceeds the installed volume capacity, you can continue to use CFCSE for 30 days. After that, you can delete CFCSE relationships, but you cannot perform any other CFCSE operations.
