  • The following describes the Compatible FlashCopy® operation when the relationship release command is executed for a TCz primary volume for which the Preserve Mirror FlashCopy function is being used.
    • If Soft Fence is set for any of the TCz primary volumes, the command is rejected, and the relationship is not released.
    • If Soft Fence is set for any of the TCz secondary volumes, the command is rejected. However, the relationship established between TCz primary volumes is released.
  • The following describes the Compatible FlashCopy® operation when the relationship release command is executed for a TCz secondary volume for which the Preserve Mirror FlashCopy function is being used.
    • If Soft Fence is set for any of the TCz primary volumes, the command ends normally, and the relationship established between TCz secondary volumes is released.
