You can edit the session timeout period for user sessions between the storage system and the management PC used by the maintenance utility or VSP One Block Administrator. This session timout period does not apply to embedded CCI, CCI, or REST API sessions. The session timeout period set by this function is applied to the entire storage system and cannot be edited by users.
Note: After the user session timeout period is changed, the new session timeout period might not be applied to sessions that were already established before the session timeout period was changed.
- You must have the Security Administrator (View & Modify) role to perform this task.
- In the maintenance utility Menu navigation tree, click System Management.
- Click Edit Session Timeout Period.
- Select the desired value: 60 minutes (default), 90 minutes, or 120 minutes
- Click Apply.
