Message level |
There are four message levels:
|
|
2 |
Message text |
Descriptive text that appears in the message window. |
|
3 |
Recommended action |
Recommended actions corresponding to the message text are provided. Take actions based on instructions given in the message window or in the recommended action part in this manual. In some cases, a message window is displayed without any recommended actions. In these circumstances, refer to the part code and the error code shown in the message window and see applicable recommended actions provided in this manual. |
|
4 |
Part code |
The part code identifies the application that issued the message. In some cases, the number of digits in a message window may not match the number of digits provided in this manual, so if a four-digit part code is displayed in the message window, add a zero "0" to the beginning of the part code to make it a five-digit code, and then refer to this manual. For example, when a four-digit part code, 7005, is displayed in a message window, refer to a five-digit part code, 07005, in this manual. |
|
5 |
Error code |
The error code is a message ID. In some cases, the number of digits in a message window may not match the number of digits provided in this manual, so if a part code having five or fewer digits is displayed in the message window, add zeros to the beginning of the part code to make it a six-digit code, and then refer to this manual. For example, when a four-digit error code, 6023, is displayed in a message window, refer to the six-digit error code 006023 in this manual. |
A network error occurred, the server is not ready, or an error occurred in the server. (YYYY ZZZZZ)
If the message window has a check box, you can check the box if you want the message to not appear until the next time you log in.
For an operation in which multiple items are specified, a table containing details of the error is displayed below the error message. For example, the LDEVs on which the error occurred are listed in the table below the error message.
