The VSP One Block storage systems generate service information messages (SIMs) to identify normal operations (for example, TrueCopy pair status changes) as well as service requirements and errors or failures. You can configure when and how SIMs are generated and the notification methods.
All SIMs are recorded in the storage system. When a SIM is output, Warning or Failed is displayed at the upper left of the Maintenance Utility window to notify users.
You can check SIMs on the Alert tab in the Maintenance Utility window.
