- You must have the IP address of the management port of the storage system.
- You must prepare a management PC that satisfies the requirements.
- Communication must be possible between the management PC and the storage system via the management LAN.
- If you use a firewall, the following ports must be open:
- Port 80 for HTTP
- Port 443 for HTTPS
- Open a web browser on the management PC, and specify the following URL to open the login page:
<http(s)>://<IP address>/
Use the service IP address or the IP address of the AMC with the ESM in the Active state.
If the login page repeatedly fails to open, close all active browser windows and then clear the web browser cache. If the login page still fails to open, log in directly to the maintenance utility with the Support Personnel (User) role and check for storage system alerts:
<http(s)>://<IP address>/MaintenanceUtility/
- Enter your user name and password, and then click Log in.
If you are the first person to log in to the storage system, enter the default user name and the initial password.
If login fails and a message appears requesting you to change your password, change the password in the maintenance utility, and then try logging in to VSP One Block Administrator again.
Note:- If account lockout is enabled (default) and the login fails multiple times in a row (default: 3), wait until the lockout period is over (default: 60 seconds) and then try again.
- If a failure occurs in the ESM that you are accessing, operations are automatically switched to the other ESM. If this occurs, you need to log in again.
- If the Server busy message appears when you click Log in, wait a few minutes and then try again.
